Miss O’Mahony travelled to C.I.T. yesterday with 30 excited athletes and their parents. The weather was miserable and made running conditions very slippy and difficult for the children. However we still had some wonderful results including 1st place in the over 11s girls’ relay. Well done to everyone who took part  and thank you to the parents who travelled.

The children have been learning ceilí dancing for the past two weeks with Martina. Videos of some of their dances will be uploaded on our Facebook page.

Cork City Sports 2017

The children are busy preparing for the Cork City Sports on June 1st .

The bus for Cork City Sports will leave at 7.45 a.m. sharp on Thursday 1st of June to avoid rushing in Cork on arrival.

We expect to be back at the school at approximately 5.30 p.m. Parents will receive a text when we leave Cork with a more accurate time of arrival.

The bus costs €8 per person.

Please let me know any parents who wish to travel on the bus by this Friday.

Please send in the money to Miss O’Mahony by Tuesday 30th of May.

A big thank you to Mr. Keohane and Mrs. O'Neill for all their hard work preparing the children for the games.
They still had fun and below are some pictures from the day.

Our school has achieved great success in this competition and we look forward to playing again this year.
We are in a challenging grouping this year; with a 15 aside team playing 20 minutes a half. We are the only mixed country school in our Group 1A but look forward to the experience of this level in Sciath na Scol.

Well done to all the children who have put in great effort at all training sessions.
