A Message From 2nd Class

The excitement is at its peak in 2nd class today as we look forward to receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion tomorrow Saturday 6th May.
There are 24 children receiving the sacrament and the ceremony begins at 11am. Children from 1st, 3rd and 4th class have been practicing our singing with us and we would be delighted if our friends from these classes would be available to be our choir tomorrow.

We wish to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to Fr. Thornton and the Parish Assembly for all their support planning and co-ordinating the Do this in Memory Program throughout the year. We would like to thank the Parish Assembly in advance for providing refreshments in the school after the Communion Ceremony. This is a special thank you from Fr. Thornton and the Parish Assembly to the children and their families, for their cooperation and hard work participating in the Do this in Memory Program preparing  for First Communion every year. We look forward to seeing and tasting the delicious cake that you always provide for the First Communion class and we promise to share some with everyone who comes across to the school after Mass.

We wish to thank you all for your love and support as we prepared for the Sacrament of Penance and First Communion. We hope you can all join us on what will be a very special and holy First Communion Day.

With love from a very excited 2nd class. Xx
